Our profile
Founded in 1980 NBIBH is a Northbrook based, healthcare management, behavioral health planning,
and healthcare facility design firm. Generations of leader ship in the healthcare management field has
distinguished our firm regionally, nationally and internationally. Today we continue to extend our services
across a variety of projects and related institutes. The diversity, expertise, and planning which constitute
our company provides fresh approaches to the current problems in the healthcare management field,
behavioral health issues and innovative healthcare facility design.

Our Leadership
Many of our principles are academicians recognized in the health care management industry; health economics,
facility design and construction are well known for their technical expertise. Our current leader was elected as
a professor of the year many times at the medical school. He has lectured widely at the University of Illinois,
the Chicago Medical School, John Hopkins and Oxford University in England. The vice chairman is internationally known
as an expert in facility design and acquisition. Other members of our leadership include a dean of medical school and
a doctor in electrical engineering.

Our Vision
NBIBH is dedicated to the practice of healthcare management. It is also dedicated to enhancing the quality
of life through the provision of expert health personnel, providing the appropriate study, medications and treatment
plan at the appropriate time to each patient. All that is performed within a facility and environment that is designed
to provide privacy equipped with the appropriate modern equipment. NBIBH’s commitment is to return the patient
to normal health in the minimum of time.

Our Mission
The Northbrook Institute for Behavioral Health provides services to international governments to
design, develop, implement and operate behavioral healthcare programs and facilities. Our ability
to execute comes from our passion to help others.

Our Achievements
•In 1981, open MRI facility at the Chicago medical school. It was designed and operated within three months.
It was the first facility in the Midwest that was built on-site at the Chicago medical school to serve the VA as well
as Naval hospital.

•In 1983, design and construction of the CT imaging facility at North Chicago veteran’s administration medical centre.
The unit was one of a kind that still serves the VA patients as of today.

•In1990, establishment and design of an operation of the virtual reality laboratory at the veterans’ administration medical center.

•In1993, establishment of NIRD (Northbrook Institute of Research and Development) .

A facility of an independent group of physicians who provide the expert management of healthcare to a variety of nationally
known health insurance companies, still operating today.

• In 1998, standup MRI facility, design and operation. Free standing privately owned unique imaging facility.

• In1999, consultant to the Chinese government in the management and integration of the western and oriental medicine.

• In 2001, consultant to the minister of health of Vietnam in the design of software for medical students and hospital facilities.

• In 2005, establishment, design and operation of a call center in Northbrook.

• In 2006, design and implementation of a unique EMR (Electronic Medical Record) “Sophan”

•Construction and design of a new facility, Northbrook Institute of Behavioral Health (still under construction, expected completion in 2012)
